Farseer's Domain is a multiplayer, online, simultaneous-turn tactical arena game being developed by the indie team Flufflesocket Studios.
The main game mode is 4v4 PvP set on an approx. 20×20 tile tactical grid which contains power-ups and cover. Victory requires not only that players use abilities at the right time, but that they tactically position themselves based on predicting enemy decisions.
it resembles a mix of paintball, chess & poker.
- Paintball: arena with walls, cover, places to hide, etc.
- Chess: strategic game on a grid-like board.
- Poker: bluffing and predicting what the enemy will do, as all actions are entered during an initial “Decision” phase, and resolve simultaneously before players know what their opponents chose to do.
